The all new 2018 Chevrolet Equinox just got a fresh new look and design just in time to meet the compact SUV demand across North America. The new compact SUV features the latest design and connectivity as well as the turbo engine consumers asked for. The redesigned 2018 Chevrolet Equinox will make its first public appearance on November 18th at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This year, Chevy is offering a new design, the most recent connectivity and the safest features and it also includes a turbo diesel engine. This compact SUV will be on sale sometime around the first few months of 2017 (sometime between January and April, they're not exactly sure when yet). In terms of latest connectivity and technology, the all new Equinox will be equipped with standard projector headlamps as well as LED daytime running lights. Therefore, only the top spec levels will feature LED tail lights. The rear seats will get to fold completely in order to afford more cargo space and an it will be easier to load it. The Chevy will also feature a 8 inch infotainment system that will be designed to be compatible with Android Auto and also Apple CarPlay. An optional 4G LTE WiFi hotspot will also be part of the new Equinox's features. The engine will either be a 1.5L or a 2.0L turbo diesel engine, along with a nine speed automatic transmission. The all new Chevrolet Equinox will feature more safety technology and some adaptive crash warning features that will provide a full peace of mind while driving. Teen driver mode is a feature that encourages safe and good driving habits. It warns young drivers when they go over the speed limit and the radio mutes as long as the driver didn't buckle up. The car automatically sets a volume limit and at the end it provides a report card that includes the total driven distance, maximum speed, overall speed warnings, number of forward collision alerts, number of forward avoidance braking and number of times the stability control was used.
