The Montreal International Auto Show 2015 is upon us. All over town, folk will go into the Palais des Congrès, from January the 16th to the 25th, to see what new offerings various manufacturers have to offer. Maybe they are looking to see which car they will end up with, or maybe it is just a fun outing. Anyway, we made it to the press day on Thursday the 15th, so here is everything that happened.
The 2015 Detroit Auto Show, otherwise known as the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), is the place for car makers to unveil all their most important models. This year was no different, as Ford shocked the world by showing three flabbergasting new models, Acura released a long-awaited production-ready supercar, Chevrolet pulled the covers on two vehicles aimed at the future and even Nissan showed up with some competition for the big Detroit trucks. Here's everything you need to know that happened at the 2015 NAIAS.
Replacing the Canada-exclusive Acura CSX, the now available in the USA Acura ILX was unveiled in 2012. Peel the fancy body away, and you find the underpinnings of a Honda Civic. The ILX and the Civic are using the same platform. We tried the 2014 Acura ILX, in base model form.
In 2003, the Mazda 3 came as a replacement of the Mazda Protegé. With only three generations in the bag, the Mazda 3’s third generation took place as a 2013 model. What’s the greatest part? We got our hands on the 2015 Mazda 3 GS trim level for a test drive!
